*NOTE: RADIOMETRIC DATA NOT PROVIDED HERE

To monitor at a distance propulsion temperature and collect radiometric data using the uncooled, VarioCAM HD radiometric handheld infrared sensor system, and customized Carl Zeiss lenses and proprietary InfraTec software, the landing of Falcon 9 rockets. Primary purpose: measure the threshold level and risk of overheating in the reusable launch system. VarioCAM HD specs: Microbolometer detector with (1,024 × 768) IR pixels. High-performance zoom lens with 25 to 150 mm focal length. Spectral range (7.5 … 14) μm. Real-time imaging up to 30 Hz full-frame rate.

RESULT: Now SpaceX can successfully launch, recover and reuse rockets.
